DTF Printing
Process
DTF (Direct To Film) printing takes place in two stages. First, the image is printed on a special film with solvent-based ink. Subsequently, through a heat press, the film formed by ink and a special mixture of salts (which have the function of a glue), is transferred to the fabric.
Advantages
Lower production costs for large volumes, also thanks to significantly shorter print times (especially in the case of industrial production printers that speed up production times, also increasing their quality). DTF printing is suitable for customizing any type of fabric, including pure polyester. It offers greater resistance to washing and discoloration. To the eye, the images are bright, with bright colors and it is suitable for printing images, logos, texts and much more.
Detriments
Not ideal for photo prints or complex designs with gradients. The result is slightly stiffer and less breathable.
